The whole IGN PS3 podcast team talks crap about GoW every time it's brought up. It's annoying. Particulary Colin, that guy is such a douche. Rips on GOW3 and MGS4 all the time, yet thinks Resistance 2 is the greatest PS3 game.

SH1 is on PS store, that's why. Also it would be too costly and difficult to actually HD such a game.
These collections companies release are about HD-ing last gen games. Games that essentially could have been HD, but the tech wasn't there in the consoles yet.

I think people expect way too much content in these collections for 40 bucks. You get 2 solid classics for basically 20 bucks each if you're getting it day one. The price will drop to 30, then 20 in no time.
SH4 isn't one of the classics. That's why.
